Daniel O'Connor is a 2016 C/SS, RHP with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Manchester, NH who attends Manchester Memorial. Medium, strongly built, lean frame. Ran a 7.42 60 yard dash. Arm strength is still developing from behind the plate and shows quick footwork. Makes accurate throws and gets the ball out quickly. Hands work well on the infield. Bats right-handed, works from a slight knee bend and knows how to lift the ball. Gets good extension and makes consistent hard contact. Flashes good bat speed. Also took the mound, pitches from a three-quarter arm slot and touches 71 mph with his fastball. Also mixes a changeup with good arm speed at 63 mph. Repeats his delivery. Very good student.
