Aidan Elias is a 2016 OF/RHP with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Lexington, KY who attends Sayre HS. Tall, lean build with considerable projection remaining in frame. Good athlete with impressive footspeed, ran a 6.57 60 yard dash. Fast, whippy arm and strong, accurate throws from the outfield. Ball comes out well, hit 89 MPH. Bats right-handed, works from an straight stance. Simple mechanics with quiet hands and consistent solid, line-drive contact to all fields. Also worked as a pitcher, using hands over head delivery. Has quick arm that projects well, topped at 84 mph from a high three-quarter arm slot. Has sinking action on fastball. Mixes a curveball in 68-71 MPH range with 11-5 action and some bite. Two way player with high upside. Excellent student. Named to Top Prospect list.
