Andrew Sargent is a 2016 LHP/OF with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Greenwood, SC who attends Greenwood. Medium, thin, young frame. Releases from a high three-quarter arm slot on the mound and does a good job of hitting spots with his fastball. Reaches 75 mph, and knows how to mix his 12-6 curveball and quality changeup. Hits his spots very well. Also swung the bat, works from a slightly open stance and shows good bat speed. Hits the ball well to his pull side. Moves well in the outfield, showing good range and carry on his throws. Excellent student.
