Andrew "Lanis" Lofton is a 2015 RHP/OF, IF, C with a 5-9 157 lb. frame from Pascagoula, MS who attends Pascagoula HS. Medium frame with a lean athletic build. Plenty of room to add strength. On the mound he has a compact delivery and a short arm action. Does a nice job of hiding the ball from hitters. Showed good control and threw strikes to both sides of the plate. Has the ability to cut the FB. CB had big break with solid depth. Mixes speeds really well. In the OF he has good actions and a short arm action. Made online accurate throws. A right handed hitter, he hits from a crouched open set up. He has a small stride and solid bat speed. Showed a line drive swing plane and made hard contact. Also ran a 7.04 60 yd dash. Very good student.
