Alec Bigness is a 2015 RHP/3B with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Englewood, FL who attends Lemon Bay HS. Medium build with long arms and plenty of room to get stronger. Short quick arm action, mid 3/4's arm slot, front side tends to open early, gets some extension out front. Fastball topped out at 82 mph, gets good running action frequently. Sweeping soft curveball with good depth at times. Gets nice arm side running action on his change up but tends to slow on release. Mixes it up and has an idea how to pitch, throws strikes. Right handed hitter, limited shift into contact, line drive swing plane with a short hand path, balanced contact oriented swing. Excellent student.
