Rene Brockman is a 2017 3B/1B/RHP with a 5-7 157 lb. frame from Vail, AZ who attends Cienega HS. Medium frame, solid build. Line drive swing plane, pulls hands inside the baseball well, long stride, uses middle of the field, some feel for barrel location. Short arm action on throws from infield, solid footwork around first base bag. Pitches from a three quarter arm slot with a short arm action, works exclusively out of the stretch. Good student.
