Luke Anderson is a 2014 2B/RHP with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Section, AL who attends Section. Has a medium compact frame with an athletic solid build. He has a smooth glove in the infield with a good accurate arm with online carry to his throws. He does a good job of attacking ground balls with good footwork and can throw from multiple arm angles. Has a good arm in the outfield with a quick first step and fields the ball with two hands. Has a good swing at the plate with bat speed, makes good barrel contact, stays inside the ball well, with a line drive swing plane and shortens up with two strikes to be able to put the ball in play. He throws from a high 3/4 arm slot on the mound, staying tall on his backside. His fastball has arm side run to it, has good feel for his 11-4 curveball which he throws for strikes. Is an excellent student and is a fun 2-way prospect to watch.
