Cody Moos is a 2015 LHP/OF with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Castroville, TX who attends Medina Valley HS. Slender athletic build,, lots of room to get stronger. Easy low effort delivery, high leg lift long loose arm action, 3/4's arm slot, good extension out front, sound overall mechanics. Steady mid-80's fastball, topped out at 85 mph, good running action at times, developed good feel for a true slider the more he threw it, good pitch, needs to develop or use a change up. Projects very well on the mound and should definitely be gaining velocity with additional strength and physical maturity. Shows athleticism in the outfield, 6.78 runner. Left handed hitter with short rotational swing, spray line drive contact. Very good student.
