Parker Hammond is a 2015 1B/LHP with a 6-4 230 lb. frame from Colorado Springs, CO who attends Pine Creek. Has an XL frame with long limbs. As a first baseman his hands worked well out in front of his body and good footwork around the base and playable arm strength. As a left handed pitcher he threw from a low 3/4 arm slot with short arm action and a nice easy leg kick. He competes on the mound and throws strikes and can improve by not landing on a stiff front leg. As a left handed hitter he hits from a wide base with some pop in his bat and picks out his pitch. Can improve by getting his front leg down sooner in his load. Excellent Student.
