Cole Brannen is a 2017 OF with a 6-1 188 lb. frame from Elko, GA who attends The Westfield Schools. Very athletic build, has good present strength with room for more. Outstanding runner, 6.18 in the sixty, flies to the ball in the outfield, gets rid of the ball quickly with good arm strength from a compact arm action. Left handed hitter, hits from a wide base with a short and repeatable swing, has very quick hands and lots of bat speed, line drive swing plane with good extension through contact, hits the ball hard to all fields and shows occasional pull/lift ability. Has very loud physical tools that are coming together well as he gets stronger and plays more. Good student, verbal commitment to Georgia Southern. Selected for the PG All-American Classic.
