Bobby Egeberg is a 2008 SS/OF/P with a 5'11'', 150 lb. frame from Goodyear, Arizona, who attends Estrella Foothills High School. Egeberg has a lean and athletic frame. He has speed in the sixty (6.87), on the bases, and in the field. Defensively he has good body control, and he moves to the ball well. Egeberg has a nice transfer and an accurate throwing arm. At the plate he is a right handed hitter who hits from a narrow base. He shows bat speed, and has the ability to make contact from gap to gap. He is a front foot hitter who is aggressive with pitches in the zone. Once on the bases he runs well showing instincts and the ability to take the extra base. On the mound he throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a smooth delivery. His arm works with solid arm speed. He gets life on his fastball that he threw from 77-79 mph. He mixes in a change up with sink, and a 68 mph curveball with rolling action. He is an outstanding student.
