Michael Lazo is a 5'8" 165 pound 2007 outfielder and right handed pitcher from Pembroke Pines High School in Miramar, Florida. He has a medium frame with decent athleticism, Michael moves well to the ball in the outfield. He showed good arm strength by throwing 78 mph during the workout. His throws had good carry on them. Lazo hits with a narrow stance with good balance and quiet feet. He has some present strength in his swing and good bat speed. His swing is short and quick with a line drive plane. He is also an aggressive baserunner, taking the extra base when it was there. Michael has a good upside in the outfield and should continue to improve.
