Nicholas Molina is a 2007 catcher/first baseman from Pembroke Pines, FL with a large frame that shows strength at 5-11, 215 lbs. He hits from a wide base with a low hand set. He has an upper body swing without much lower half involvement. He has very strong hands and wrists and he attacks the balls low in the zone. He has good bat control and he makes solid contact on balls that are middle of the palate and in. He has a quick bat and he shows big time power potential. Defensively, he has a quick release and he popped a 2.09 at 68 mph with good accuracy. He has good raw tools and he will develop into a top level prospect as he matures. Nicholas is a very good student
