Tyler Schmidt is a 2014 LHP/ with a 6-4 175 lb. frame from Calgary, AB who attends Calgary Christian School. Schmidt has a large-lean frame with long limbs and room to fill out. As a left handed pitcher he threw from a high 3/4 arms slot with a slow-smooth delivery, he had good command of his pitches on both side of the plate. Mixed his pitches well on the mound, curveball had 12-6 breaking action. Can improve on the mound by getting on top of the ball. As an outfielder he had short arm action with online carry and good fielding actions. Good Student.
