Omar Gonzalez is a 2014 C/2B with a 5-9 151 lb. frame from Patillas, PR who attends Rafaelina E. Lebrón Flores HS. Slender young build, minimal present strength. 7.07 runner, has some quickness behind the plate, good transfer and exchange, some length to arm stroke adds to pop times, 2.06 best pop, projectable arm strength. Also plays infield. Right handed hitter, long stride into contact, back side tends to collapse, under the ball, has some hand quickness, will need to learn how to hit taller.
