Jason Polgano is a 2014 OF/LHP, 1B with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Bronx, NY who attends Cardinal Spellman. Tall, thin, projectable build with above average athleticism. Attacks the ball aggressively in the outfield and shows above average arm strength. Bats left-handed, works from an even stance and carries his hands low. Makes hard contact to the middle of the field. Timing is a little inconsistent right now but flashes good bat speed and uses his hands very well. High upside hitter. Also took the mound, pitches from a high three-quarter arm slot and uses a high leg kick. Keeps his delivery under control and reaches 80 mph with his fastball. Also flashes 11-5 curveball at 71 with late bite. Good student.
