Ronald Washington is a 2017 OF with a 6-1 200 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Ridge Point HS. Big and strong athletic build, has really tightened up his body in the last year. 6.65 runner, runs well home to first and in the outfield, showed a good first step and nice closing speed in the outfield. Right handed hitter, has big raw power and strength at contact, stays short to the ball from a wide base, shows some of his best lift and power to right centerfield. Most impressed with the firming up of his body and the improved athleticism as a result. Good student, verbal commitment to Texas.
