Paul Sherwood is a 2014 SS/2B with a 5-8 155 lb. frame from Liberty, MO who attends Liberty North. Sherwood has a smaller frame with a lean build. He has solid actions defensively and has some defensive instincts. Sherwood has quick transfers and release with developing arm strength. He has solid defensive tools and nice hands. At the plate, Sherwood starts with a slightly open stance and uses a toe tap trigger to start his swing. He stays inside the ball well and swings on a line drive plane. He maintains good balance through his swing and made solid middle of the field contact. Solid player who will really improve as he gets stronger. Very good student.
