Logan Cook is a 2014 OF/RHP with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends High Tech-Media Arts. Logan was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in late January of this year. Just prior to his diagnosis he had lost 40lbs of body weight. Since then he has regained most of this lost weight and strength and is steadily gaining both. He has his condition very much under control and his doctor is projecting his strength and body mass will catch up to his potential within a few months. Shot load to swing, rotational swing with a line drive plane, front leaks a bit, keeps hands above and inside the baseball well. Pitches from a high three quarters arm slot with a short arm action, fastball runs back to the arm side, 12-6 shape on curveball with big depth. Very good student.
