Dylan Beauregard is a 2014 SS with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Burbank, CA who attends John Burroughs. Compact frame, athletic build. Not the type of prospect that wows you while stepping off the bus, but very athletic and live bodied middle infielder who brings a lot to the table in every phase of the game. Quick transfer defensively, short arm action, moves well with solid range and quick actions, good body control to make accurate throws on the run, glove stood out in games. Polished hit tool, good swing path with quick hands, good balance with a line drive stroke, direct hand path, generates surprising bat speed with a short swing. Flashes doubles power, drives the baps with good extension through the baseball. Runs well and shows solid all around instincts.
