Bo Dillon is a 2008 C with a 5'10'', 180 lb. frame from Little Rock AR, who attends Central. Dillon has a medium sized frame with some present strength. Defensively, Dillon throws with a short arm action from behind the dish and has quick feet on his throws down to second base. He has a busy approach receiving and could quiet it down a bit to help him be a more consistent receiver. He has solid arm strength with a nice release. At the plate, Dillon starts with a medium width stance and high hands. He uses a tall simple approach and has a nice short swing path to the baseball. Dillon swings on a line drive plane and showed a good ablility to hit the baseball to all fields. He made consistent solid contact and is able to generate some bat speed with his swing. Dillon swings with some effort and could use a better timing mechanism to make his stroke more consistent. Dillon should hit for a high average with his approach and the simplicity of his swing. He is a very good student.
