Chris Deranian is a 2015 2B/IF with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Exeter, NH who attends Exeter. Medium, athletic build with a lean, projectable frame and room to fill out with added strength. Ran a 7.19 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder, moves well on feet and glove work plays, shows athleticism, short arm action with arm strength that will continue to develop. Right-handed hitter, starts with an upright stance and high hand set. Hands start away from body, gets to front foot early, short bat path to the ball, shows a feel for the barrel and made hard line drive contact during in game at bats. Shows nice coverage of the plate with a contact approach and ability to hit to all fields with extension out front. Very good student.
