Jacob Silva is a 2015 SS/ with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Valencia, CA who attends Valencia. Silva has a medium sized frame with a lean build. Defensively he has solid footwork with developing young actions. He shows athleticism to the baseball and shows good young tools that should improve. Silva has some arm strength with accuracy. At the plate, he starts with a slightly open stance with high hands and a slight crouch. He uses a no load approach with a good path to the baseball. Silva stays inside the ball well and made contact to all fields. He's got developing hitting tools with line drive pop. Outstanding student.
