Michael Hickman is a 2015 C/OF with a 6-1 205 lb. frame from Katy, TX who attends Seven Lakes HS. Thick extra strong build, fairly mature physically, especially strong in the lower half. Left handed hitter, high hand start, open to closed contact, exaggerated inside the ball approach, working mid to opposite field, contact approach on a player with big bat speed and raw power potential, high level hitting tools with adjustments. Big arm strength behind the plate, has some lower half quickness, strong hands receiving, 1.88 best pop time, has improved his catching skills, also plays corner outfield, 7.32 runner. Making adjustments with his hitting approach will be key to his development. Verbal commitment to Oklahoma.
