Luiny Monegro is a 2014 MIF with a 5-8 170 lb. frame from Queens, NY who attends The School at Church Farm. Lean and athletic with lots of room to fill out and add strength. Moves well on the infield, has raw skills. Hands show feel, good transfer, short arm action, arm strength plays. Right handed hitter, long swing with middle of the field approach. Smooth to ball, good contact skills. Showed quickness in bat, good baserunner with instincts. Good student.
