Brian Barefoot is a 2014 SS/RHP with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Monroe, LA who attends Neville HS. Medium athletic build, has some present strength. 7.11 runner, nice balanced actions in the infield, works around and through the ball, advanced footwork, quick release, has some arm strength, tools to stay in the middle infield at the next level. Right handed hitter, quiet comfortable stance, aggressive swing with bat speed, attacks the ball, stays balanced and hits through the ball, good jump on contact and has some power. Also pitched, sound delivery, keeps it simple, short quick arm action, loose 3/4's slot. Fastball topped at 81 mph, mostly straight, maintains arm speed well on change up, shows good bite and feel for slow curveball. Hustling high energy player with lots of tools. Good student.
