Chipper Andzel is a 2013 MIF/3B, OF with a 5-9 175 lb. frame from Tallahassee, FL who attends Lawton Chiles HS. Solid athletic build, good present strength. 7.26 runner, good fielding actions, good footwork and balance, soft hands, showed slick glove work at second base, quick hands and transfer, playable raw arm strength. Right handed hitter, open upright stance, early stride, keeps hands short and quick to the ball, line drive swing plane, stays inside the ball, shows the ability to drive the ball to right centerfield, will occasionally loop hands and hit under, aggressive approach with some bat speed. Plays faster than 60 time, challenges the defense on the base paths. Good student. Named to the Top Prospect Team.
