Daryl Semien Jr. is a 2013 MIF/OF/3B with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Burlingame, CA who attends Burlingame HS. Medium frame, thin athletic build with room to fill. Solid two-way prospect. Generates bat speed with low effort swing, smooth load, high hand sent, looks to life and pull. Patient in-game approach, squared ball up well against live pitching. Pitches from a three quarter arm slot, arm works well, lose arm action, good extension. Arm projects well, good tailing action on fastball, maintains arm speed on changeup well with good fading action. Works quickly, good command of fastball, solid feel for changeup, online delivery. 1-7 break on curveball with good depth, throws it for strikes. Good student.
