2005 Ohio Valley Top Prospect
Sam Sivilotti is a 2006 OF/RHP MIF from Nicolet HS in Glendale, WI, with a 6'1'', 190 lb. frame. He has a solid athletic build with very live actions. Sivilotti ran the 60 in 6.93 and showed very good range in the outfield. He threw 88 mph from the outfield, outstanding arm strength for a high school age prospect. Sivilotti's athletic tools stand out. At the plate, he hits from a spread stance with a short load and aggressive movement to the ball. He opens up some and has a short, quick swing path to the ball. Sivilotti has good bat speed and attacks the ball aggrressively. He has a high finish at the end of his swing that could provide lift and home run potential in the future. We like the way he plays the game; he's aggressive and plays hard. Sivilotti has very good tools and projects well at the next level. He's also a good student off the field.
