Tristan Burt is a 2014 LHP/OF/1B with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Austin, TX who attends LBJ Liberal Arts and Science Academy. Tall slender build, developing strength. Slow paced balanced delivery, stays on line, limited lower half use, 3/4's release point. Mid 70's fastball, topped out at 78 mph, occasional arm side run. Mixes pitches well, some feel for 65 mph change up with fading action, tends to slow arm on curveball affecting spin and depth. Left handed hitter, tall stance, big loading action, pull swing approach with some lift, has some bat speed and could improve with repetitions/additional strength. 6.95 runner. Good student.
