Jared Williams is a 2014 2B/SS with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Gilbert, SC who attends Gilbert. Has a medium compact build with an athletic build and room to fill out. Has good lateral quickness to him with a quick release and a good accurate arm which has online carry. Showed good footwork with good soft hands, has a smooth glove and makes plays on the infield. Has good swing mechanics with a sound quiet approach and does a good job of working the count. He has a easy level swing with bat speed, has pop in his bat and makes good barrel contact. Makes the pitcher think about him when he's on bases and uses his speed to take an extra base when he can. Is a South Carolina Commit and is a very good student.
