Mike Meechan is a 2014 LHP/1B with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Nutley, NJ who attends Nutley HS. Long lean projectable build with some current strength. Solid athletic body. On the mound he throws from a 3/4 slot. He uses a high leg kick and very streamlined delivery. FB was deceptive and he did a nice job of missing barrels. Throws a big 1-7 CB. Has a nice feel for it and consistently threw it for strikes. Showed control of all pitches. In the OF he showed solid actions and good footwork. Very good in the classroom.
