Jacob Cronenworth is a 2012 MIF/3B, RHP with a 5-11 148 lb. frame from St Clair, MI who attends St. Clair. He has a lean, athletic build which projects to fill out well. He was very impressive in field showing a strong, accurate arm, smooth actions, and also moved well. At the plate he has a quiet load, was well balanced throughout his swing. His hands were quick and his swing fluid with gap power. He sprayed hits to fields in BP and games. On the mound, he has a high leg kick, and a loose, quick arm. His fastball has good life, and he showed good feel for a solid late breaking curveball. Interesting follow.
