Jarad Watts is a 2012 MIF with a 5-9 171 lb. frame from LaQuinta, CA who attends LaQuinta HS. Compact build, good present strength. Left handed hitter, patient hitter, sees ball, open stance with pre-stride approach, keeps hands close and tight, upper cut swing plane with upper body lean, looking to lift, finds the barrel well but would benefit from a more level swing. 7.68 runner, aggressive on the bases with good instincts. Second base tools/arm strength, good balanced fielder, stays in front of the ball well, good footwork, charges well, sound fundamentally on defense. Very good student.
