Reginald (RJ) Shird is a 2012 1B/OF with a 6-6 240 lb. frame from Seaside, CA who attends Monterey. Tall athletic build, great build, well put-together. Line-drive hitting approach, easy left-handed swing, consistent contact, will improve with better balance in swing. Clean actions at first base, good to the ball, feet work. Low 3/4 arm slot on the mound, short easy arm action, great pitcher's body, bottom falls out of changeup.
