Joshua Scivally is a 2014 OF/RHP with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Grapevine, TX who attends Heritage HS. Strong athletic build. Right handed hitter, big pull back load, low hand start, long uppercut swing path to the ball, tends to jump into pitches affecting balance, shows raw bat speed and some power potential, will need adjustments for more consistent square contact. 7.25 runner, moves to the ball in the outfield, exaggerated crow hop throwing the ball. Also pitched, low 3/4's release point, long extended arm action, some effort at release, mid 70's fastball topped at 75 mph, slow sweeping curveball. Good student.
