Patrick King is a 2005 left handed pitcher from Columbus New Jersey with a tall projectable pitchers body, and long arms and legs at 6 ft. 5 190 pounds. He pitches from a 3/4 slot with a drop in drives style, and a hip turn. He loses a lot of his natural 6 ft. 5 leverage. He extends well out front, and lands on his heel. He is a very raw mechanically and slightly off balance. His fastball topped out at 81 mph with good run. His change was 69-71 mph with good movement. He did not show a breaking ball. He has a very projectable LHP body with a loose arm that has more velocity in it. Patrick is an excellent student and a pitching coaches dream. His best years are ahead of him..
