Nick Piccicacco is a 2006 catcher from Punta Gorda, FL with a good athletic looking build at 5-11, 180 lbs. Defensively, He catches from a good balanced position and he shows good lateral movement with quick feet. Nick blocks balls in the dirt well and he has quick actions. He has a strong arm at 74 mph with a good pop time of 1.95. Piccicacco hits from a balanced stance with a nice high finish. He has strong hands and a quick bat with a line drive swing plane. Nick makes solid hard contact and he drives the ball to all fields. Piccicacco is a solid catcher will put up big numbers at the next level with the potential to hit for home run power. Nick is a very good student.
