Nate Titus is a 2007 RHP/MIF with a 6'0'', 165 lb. frame from Tampa FL, who attends Tampa Jesuit HS. He has a medium athletic build and loose, athletic actions. Titus throws from a low 3/4's release point with a long and easy arm actions. He gets very good run on a 80-82 mph fastball and compliments that with a big, sweeping 75 mph slider. Titus has outstanding command of the outside part of the plate to right handed hitters and had them reaching the entire time. He works quickly and knows what he's trying to do on the mound. His pitching style is an effective one and Titus struck out 7 hitters in 3 innings of work. With his looseness, Titus might even gain a few more ticks of velocity and learn that he can bust right handers inside with the same style. Titus lists a change up among his pitches but we didn't see one. He is also a very good student.
