2004 Underclass National Showcase
Michael Bybee -- Bybee is a big left handed hitting sophomore first baseman who will improve his baseball skills a lot as he tones up his body. He had a leg injury during the showcase and was only able to play in one game. Bybee took a nice batting practice and showed excellent potential with the bat. He does a very good job of keeping his head down on the ball through contact and gets good extension. Nice quiet approach with excellent bat speed. Bybee had a very good ratio of hard hit balls and could hit with a ton of power in the future. Michael is a very good student and swings a good bat. Once he gets control of his body, he could become a big sleeper.
