John Goss is a 2012 MIF with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Bellaire, TX who attends Episcopal HS. Slender live bodied athletic build. 6.74 runner, quick infield actions, moves well laterally, nice athletic balance, long arm action with over the top release can be shortened, solid arm strength, throws carry well. Left handed hitter, pre-loads front side, toe tap trigger, collapses back side and leans back in swing, upper cut plane, quick hands but doesn't move through contact, mostly opposite field contact but hits it hard, will need to make adjustments for the next level. Solid overall athlete who should keep improving, especially with the bat. Good student.
