Cody Mirabal is a 2011 C/3B with a 5-11 168 lb. frame from Chicago, IL who attends Mount Carmel HS. Lean athletic build. Hits from a slightly closed stance, solid balanced approach, hands start in loaded position, good hand/bat speed, good contact skills, swing looks the best when stays closed longer. Quick transfer behind the plate, accurate throws, showed good back hand fielding skills in the infield, ball comes out of his hand well, squats down deep to good fielding position. Good follow.
