F. Connor Smith is a 2010 RHP/1B with a 6'2'', 200 lb. frame from Lafayette, LA who attends Lafayette HS. Strong slopped shouldered athletic build, strong lower half. High leg kick delivery, clean delivery, good arm action, loose out front, high 3/4's release. Consistent mid 80's fastball, topped at 87 mph, pitches inside well, 11 to 5 break on CB, might be slider guy in future. Good athlete, 6.86 runner, shows some power in his swing, good bat speed. Good student.
