Gavin Davis is a 2011 MIF with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Snohomish, WA who attends Monroe. Davis has a compact and strong build, good strength for his size with well built shoulders, strong lower half as well. Fields cleanly and makes routine plays on the infield, anticipates well off the bat and has a good first step. Switch hitter the the plate with similar hitting mechanics from both sides. From the left side he will look to pull the ball and shows solid contact, from the right side he has a more natural swing that creates contact to all fields more consistently. Very good student.
