Michael Koerick is a 2012 C/3B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Radnor, PA who attends Radnor. Lean, athletic build. Solid mechanics behind the plate. Good transfer, stays online and gains ground with his feet. Good catch and throw skills. Feet could be quicker. Has shown slightly better pop times at past PG Showcases. Left-handed bat with a slightly open stance at set-up. Does a good job of getting the bat head out front. Smooth swing with line drive strength. Showed the ability to go the other way very well. Swing projects at the plate. Interesting bat to follow. Very good student.
