Manbodh is a 5-11 right handed hitting catcher from Florida with a mature, strong body. He’s an aggressive type of player both offensively and defensively who shows good knowledge of the game. At the plate, Manbodh hits out of an open stance and doesn’t get much lower body involvement but has very strong hands and generates very good bat speed with some extension out front. He’s looking to lift the ball and hit it hard and showed his power in the games. Manbodh did a good job staying back on off speed pitches, which you don’t see often in such an aggressive hitter. Defensively, Manbodh showed very good arm strength and pop times down to 1.96. He also showed some instincts behind the plate and worked well with the pitchers. The one thing that would benefit Manbodh for the next level is some work on his quickness and overall running speed. He is a good student.
