Samuel "Kale" Gaden is a 2009 C/OF with a 6'0'', 175 lb. frame from Stillwater, OK who attends Stillwater. Gaden has an athletic build and is very athletic on the field. He is a good catcher with very good catch and throw skills. He popped a 1.89 in the workout. He also plays the outfield well with good arm strength and he uses his 6.63 speed well. Gaden has a short swing at the plate with quick hands and a good gap to gap approach. He squares balls up and drives them to all fields. He has a good hitting approach and handles the bat very well. He plays hard and is also a good student. One to watch very closely in Oklahoma over the next year.
