Jeff Rapoport is a 2006 outfielder from Westlake, Ca with a very athletic build at 5-11, 182 lbs. He is a quick twitch athlete with 6.42 speed in the 60 who uses his speed well on the bases and in the outfield. Rapaport has very good range in the outfield and a strong throwing arm and should be comfortable at all three outfield positions at the upper levels of baseball. He hits from a tall stance with a lofted swing plane and plus bat speed. Rapaport's uses lots of arm in his swing right now and has very good extension out front and shows his power potential. He shows the ability to wait back on off speed pitches and explode through them. Rapaport's tools play at the highest level and the professional scouts will appreciate his approach to the game. Rapaport is also a very good student who has signed with UCLA.
