Andrew Aplin is a 2009 OF/P/1B with a 6'0'', 190 lb. frame from Suisun City, CA who attends Vanden HS. Aplin is a very athletic outfielder who hits and throws from the leftside. He looked good in the outfield with very good actions and a fast arm that topped at 88mph. He shows good strength at the plate with a quick bat. The bat stands out! He made very good game contact and hits hard line drives. He stays inside the ball. He showed good instincts on the bases and used his 6.80 sixty speed well. He is a good student and a top 2009 to follow.
