Lorian is a big, barrel chested young man with good strength throughout. We’re told that he’s lost 30 pounds during the last year and we applaud him for his effort and encourage him to keep going. Lorian has very athletic actions on the mound despite his size and varies his arm angle and release points with intent and maintains control of the strike zone and the quality of his stuff. His arm works well and generates an 83-86 mph fastball with good running life to it. His 75 mph change up is a promising pitch while his 66 mph curveball needs some more work. George is a guy to keep a close eye on for college coaches especially.
